What is Ayurveda?

Sanskrit definition: the science of life and longevity

The art of living in harmony with the laws of nature; an ancient, natural wisdom of health & healing. The aims and objectives of this science are to maintain the health of a healthy individual and to heal disease of an unhealthy person through a holistic system of connecting mind, body and consciousness & how we maintain that while interacting with other people and our changing environment.

 

As a science of self healing, ayurveda encompasses diet & nutrition, lifestyle, exercise, rest & relaxation, meditation, breathing exercises & medicinal herbs to cleanse the body, mind & spirit.

Illnesses & conditions are due to alterations in the body's inner ecology; these upset the individuals balance, creating subtle biochemical changes and ultimately, disease but with proper nutrition for your individual constitution, exercise & daily routine can be a potent source of healing.

Trained as an Ayurveda Wellness Coach, I’ve studied the ancient science of Ayurveda — the art of living in alignment with nature’s rhythms. My education includes in-depth study of dosha theory, digestive health, daily routine, herbal and nutritional therapy, and mind-body balance, blending traditional Ayurvedic principles with modern wellness understanding.

This training allows me to create personalized lifestyle, nutrition, and self-care plans that honor each person’s unique constitution, helping restore balance, build vitality, and support long-term healing in practical, sustainable ways.

2022 - current

Level 3 Spring Forest Qigong Practitioner

As a Level 3 Spring Forest Qigong Practitioner, I am trained in advanced energy cultivation, healing techniques, and intuitive awareness practices rooted in Master Chunyi Lin’s internationally recognized Qigong system.

Spring Forest Qigong blends ancient Chinese wisdom with modern understanding of energy medicine. Its purpose is simple yet profound — to help you heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually by awakening your body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Through Level 3 training, I have studied and practiced the deeper layers of Qi development, advanced healing protocols, and energy channel balancing, including methods for opening major energy centers, working with the dantian, and transforming emotional blockages into vitality.

Sound Healing Practitioner

As a Sound Healing Practitioner, I am trained in the therapeutic use of vibration and frequency to restore balance within the body and mind. Through instruments such as crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, drums, and voice toning, sound is used intentionally to calm the nervous system, harmonize energy flow, and support emotional release.

My training blends the wisdom of ancient sound traditions with modern vibrational science, helping to guide the body into deep states of rest where natural healing and regeneration can occur. Each session invites stillness, clarity, and a return to inner harmony.
